Is Punting On Horse Racing Easy? Professional Punting Secrets.
professional betting
Well the answer is "NO".

Punting on horse racing is complex and takes years of experience and by experience I mean by making mistakes and actually learning from those mistakes and then though this learning process gaining the experience to be able to look at a race and sum it up in your mind instantly and make a decision as to if that race has the best possible chance of winning, contains the best possible value return you want and therefore is worth punting into. Nothing in life is easy, everything is hard at first and then over time through sheer hard work you gain real experience and expert real world knowledge so you have the ability to adapt to any situation which may occur in a split instant. Really if horse racing was easy it would be the most popular sport in the world, but it is not, because there are other forms of punting which are easier for most people to understand. Sports betting is going to be the biggest form of punting in the world because there are just 2 teams and you either like one team or you like there opponent and it really as simple as that so sports betting is really a simple game for the general masses who bet with there emotional feelings, but if you like playing a much harder game where you get to think with your actual mind and use critical thinking and reasoning then the sport of kings horse racing is for you. I really dislike games which reflect the need only for or mainly for emotional feelings and Australian lotto is an absolute perfect example of this, as people take a powerball ticket because they are feeling lucky, but even if they are feeling unlucky it makes absolutely no difference at all, as the odds of anyone winning powerball are exactly 1 chance in 76,676,600 so if you are feeling lucky or unlucky the chances are all exactly the same whereas in horse racing if you know exactly what you are doing you can and do put the odds of winning more greatly into your own favor.

Punting on horse racing is a skill and it only suits certain people and the rest are just fodder for the bookmakers who have especially over the past few years become experts in the art of the con majoring with degrees in deception and manipulation. The next time you logon to your bookmakers website ask yourself why the hell does the site look like a poker machine and there you have your answer. There is a psychology to bookmaking in its present form which preys on peoples non-ability to show any form of basic discipline and every-time they slip you a free bet they are not doing you a favor, because they know you will more than likely blow $50 or more worth of real money as well. Bait and catch an old trick brought to life at a bookmakers website near you.

For myself at the time of writing this article I am 46 and have been punting since the age of 6 which is not something I would recommend for your own children. Sure you get to meet a lot of interesting and checkered characters along the way and learn from there good points and never ever repeat there bad points, but it would have been nice to have been able to have been steered into a different path. Sure I have the free choice to do something else, but this subject is what I know the most about and I can help others to avoid the mistakes I have made and steer them absolutely clear of the pitfalls which can and do come along. Punting in every form should always be viewed as a bit of social fun and sure you can make money here and there but to be good at something requires absolute discipline and let's face it most people lack this basic skill which is why there are so few true professional punters in the world. Sure a lot spruik the fact that they are professionals, but I can tell you they are truly lying. A real true professional punter keeps his mouth shut and would never admit he makes his living off punting to anyone because staying out of the picture is a part of playing the game and not showing your cards to anyone ever is an absolute gimme.

For myself I am just an old fashioned grinder and I bet to win $50 each time I bet then I simply walk away until another day. $50 might not seem to be a lot but $50 over 30 days in a month is $1500 and over a year 365 days is $18250 and this is my own personal goal. I use a system and everybody has a system if they know it or not. Some people play just the number 4 and some people have a love for trifecta's and there license plate numbers, so really everyone has a system and its absolutely important. If you have a system you like and you are using it because you know that it works, otherwise you would not be using it unless you are a glutton for punishment and by using this same system in every bet you are in reality limiting your risk as you know you will hit a result eventually instead of just using random numbers and sequences for each race where you may never hit a result or series of winning results which is what you really want and need in order to gain a profit.

I think I have written enough so the moral to the story is learn by your mistakes and if you want to be good at something practice and practice and practice some more. To start off with aim low with your possible winning profits so only punt to win a small amount and be happy with that and once you have gained enough experience which is that point where you have no fear and a confident head full of real world knowledge increase your outlay for a bigger possible return. Remember always enjoy what you do and if its not fun anymore you as a human being have free choice so you have the choice to just do something else. And finally always set goals for yourself and aim to achieve those goals and soon as you hit your goal call it a day. And that's basically all I can think of right at this time as its been a long day and almost midnight.

So keep learning and always enjoy what you do and practice, practice and practice some more.
